Elizabeth Novy, APRN-CNP, DipACLM, MSCP, NC-BC, NBC-HWC
Liz Novy is a Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced training and certifications in menopause care, lifestyle medicine, and nurse/health and wellness coaching. Her work integrates evidence-based medicine, lifestyle medicine, and whole-person care to help women navigate midlife with confidence through comprehensive clinical care, education, and practical lifestyle strategies that support long-term health and vitality.
Her clinical experience includes comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, hormone therapy management, medical weight management, chronic disease risk reduction, and integrative care informed by lifestyle and functional medicine. Earlier in her career, she served in medical education with Genova Diagnostics, consulting with healthcare professionals nationwide on the clinical interpretation of advanced specialty laboratory testing in gastrointestinal health, nutrition, cardiometabolic health, and hormone assessment. That experience deepened her understanding of the underlying contributors to chronic disease and continues to inform her evidence-based, personalized approach to patient care.
She believes informed, shared decision-making is the foundation of personalized care, helping patients make confident choices that align with their values, preferences, and long-term goals. Her approach emphasizes nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, and social connection as essential foundations. Throughout her career, she has supported diverse populations through patient education, chronic disease prevention and management, and lasting behavior change.
For more than a decade, she has served as an educator, mentor coach, and curriculum contributor in health and wellness coaching programs, helping prepare the next generation of coaches while advancing whole-person approaches to health. As an active member of the Ohio Social Prescribing Collaborative, she supports initiatives that strengthen social connection, resilience, and healthier communities.
Personal experiences with illness and the loss of a loved one to cancer inspired her career in healthcare and continue to shape her commitment to compassionate, whole-person care. Her earlier career as a professional interior designer also continues to influence her appreciation for how creativity and our environments contribute to well-being.
